Recently I was surfing on-line looking for a sphynx and I was going through the kitty postings. One ad caught my eye and when I opened it, it was love at first sight. A beautiful pure white kitten with a black tail. I knew I had to try to make her part of my family. The night I e-mailed about her I got a very sweet reply asking questions about my home environment for a kitten. A few e-mails, and a lot of questions later, I knew I really wanted this kitty. One morning after that I recieved a phone call from Crystal, the foster mother to the kitten and owner of crystalkats rescue, and had an 87 minute phone conversation (who's counting) with her and the more we talked the more I felt comfortable with her.

I kept in contact with her by e-mail every day, (many times a day) for several days. Then Sunday night I got an e-mail and we arranged for her to bring Teeni (kittens given name) to us on a home visit to see how she works out with (my year old kitty) Jacky to see if they like each other. When she showed up she was a very beautiful and warm spirited person. Very inviting smile. She came in and when I saw Teeni/Lola I knew she was it!. She let Lola play around a little and when she met Jacky it didnt exactly go so well at first. Crystal and Teeni/Lola spent a few hours at my house, we talked, we signed papers and she left Teeni/Lola here and so far things have been great!.

If anyone is thinking of either buying or adopting, please choose adopting. Lola was rescued from a kill shelter, I'm so glad that I found her, shes been an amazing experience . . . (as she knocks down a bag of stuff i had on my bed from shopping lol). I really had a great opportunity with this adoption and if you are interested in a kitten or cat in the Houston area PLEASE please please talk to Crystal. Shes an amazing person. I have adopted her to be my Aunt Crystal..
